Welcome to Piggy Toes Art Studio! An imaginative world where everyone can create and pigs really do fly!
The secret (according to anyone you ask) that makes the studio extraordinary, is the “kick your feet up” atmosphere, the high quality materials (we don’t cheap out), the variety of instruction (we really like what we do), and a promise that each artist’s work should be unique (no cookie-cutters here…although we do like cookies!).
FYI: The studio is mask and vaccine optional. We strive to offer a well-cleaned, ventilated, and spacious creative environment and hope you join us for in-studio classes. However, for those who live far away, dates and times don’t work, and/or prefer at-home instruction, the new online classes are awesome!

2024 Heaven on Earth - Horse & Creativity Retreat

Artist, author, and horse-lover, Jayme H. Mansfield, invites you to join her for the Heaven on Earth ~ Horse & Art Retreat! For six nights at the historic, top-rated, Wyoming guest ranch in the breathtaking Centennial Valley, we’ll create, ride horses, breathe a little deeper and smile a lot wider!
Date: Sunday, Sept 22nd (1 p.m.) – Saturday, Sept. 28th (noon), 2024

For those needing overnight accommodations, there's no better place than staying a stone's throw away at the historic Vee Bar Guest Ranch as a Bed & Breakfast guest. Arrive Friday late afternoon/early evening, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and then come over to my house to paint! Stay over Saturday night at the Vee Bar to make the escape worth your while, enjoy another breakfast, and then wrap up an inspiring, art-filled weekend before heading home.

Art Workshop - Intuitive Floral Abstraction - Live Stream
This unique painting class will overflow with vibrant texture, exciting color, and surprising outcomes as we work BIG and BOLD! I will be sharing the joy as I demonstrate how I create my floral abstraction pieces and encourage you along your own, unique artistic path. Using a variety of techniques and tools, we’ll create individualized and intriguing paintings that stem from mindfulness, creative permission, and spontaneous expression. I’ll provide treats and beverages, but feel free to bring along your own yummies if desired. A surprise gift awaits you as well!

Coffee and Canvas - Live Stream
A beautiful way to spend a morning…good friends and gorgeous art! Similar to the beloved evening classes, with a focus on instruction using varied and supplied art materials. This is a perfect class for the not-so-night-owls and those wanting to add an additional class to their monthly repertoire. Typically, we dip our brushes into acrylic on canvas, but also watercolor and pastels may challenge our creative muse.

Art Intensive ~ Small Group & Private Instruction - Via Zoom Meeting
Looking for more intensive, personalized art instruction? This new offering is perfect for private instruction or an intimate group. For two hours, I teach, model, and coach attendees on a deeper level as we work on similar-themed paintings to practice a variety of art principles and painting techniques. Possible mediums include acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and mixed media.
Cost:
$65.00 per person with three to four attendees.
$85.00 per person with two attendees.
$95.00 for single, private instruction.
All sessions are two hours in length and all materials are provided.

Writer’s Workshop - A Writer’s Oasis - In Person or Via Zoom Meeting
Whether you write fiction, non-fiction, poetry, blog entries, journals … and whether you are a seasoned writer or mulling ideas that simply can’t be silenced any longer, this is the opportunity to gift to yourself! We’ll gather at the studio and peaceful areas of my home (yes, they do exist!) to talk, brainstorm, critique (in only the good way), share, and encourage each other in our writing journeys.
The event includes:
- One-on-one intentional meetings with Jayme to discuss your writing goals, needs, and dreams.
- Small and large group gatherings to share ideas, garner support and accountability, and celebrate with others who “get” why words matter.
- Best of all, uninterrupted time to think, write, and relax in a creative oasis!
Light food will be served, a variety of beverages on hand, and special giveaways to congratulate you on your courage and tenacity to create and write!
